In accordance with the Categories of Employment Policy (Section II.C), Professional Librarians are "closely associated with the faculty in the shared endeavor of teaching and research" and "accorded academic status". The My Parking system receives employee patron type information from the University's Human Resources system. In most instances, Professional Librarians are assigned the patron type of "Staff" by default. If you are a Professional Librarian who has registered for a parking permit and would like a Faculty hangtag instead of a Staff one, please complete the Professional Librarian Identification Form. Upon receipt of the completed form, we will process your permit and hangtag as a Faculty member.
